Your Role as a Designer

I work to communicate what I love, I am a scholar, and the collections come from deep research in the history of tailoring and costume. I feela responsibility to communicate pure Italian Style, net of the overseas influences that have invaded us with sportswear and oversize. For me, fashion is refinement, magic, construction, allure , and it is what can give women a tool to emerge, to tell their stories.

The main activities

The designer is a key figure in any creative process. I am responsible for creating and designing visual solutions that capture attention and communicate effectively with the audience. I have deep tencnical skills on collection plans, garment layering, advertising campaigns, styling and have always had a 'visceral attraction to technology that I work with constantly. In addition to Brand I have a studio that deals with content production, shootings and a new AI department dedicated to marketing and seo .

Collaborators

People need to be stimulated to give their best and I try to convey a sense of harmony and involvement. I like people driven by passion and insight, enthusiasm, positivity are key . Working many years in large companies I have a very clear idea of the kind of people I can work with . The phases that I consider most important for development must be managed internally so all communication, B2C, marketing, It department, relations with the press and celeb while for productions we rely on several external companies.

The 'love of iconic garments.

From the pursuit of value as an investment. Before launching the Celeste Pisenti collection I worked for two years just on pattern making, we tried on and tried again the fitting on models of different physiques and heights, it was a focused, precision work that stemmed from my love of fit. This great work led to the creation of clothes that were an immediate success and made the brand recognizable. The path to creating something special always has a solid knowledge base, and that's what I invest in, in the culture of Italian savoir-faire, in those garments that retain value over time .

the Fast Fashion

It's barbaric for our industry, an immense machine that creates and produces at high speeds and then throws away 80 percent, generating enormous environmental problems. The only positive aspect is the more democratic one whereby everyone has been given a chance to be able to be fashionable .

Mini or Maxi

elegance is a matter of proportion, behavior, manners. The mini can be as elegant as the long , and 'a matter of' overall and harmony with the wearer .

The Women

I love the spirit of the Nouvelle Vague , the style of Jane Birkin, the personality of young stars like Lily Rose Deep or Vic de Angelis of Moneskin, the allure of the women of the late 1970s, the elegance of Grace Kelly. I love women who have a unique style or talent a magic.
